On Friday, Year 2 went to Belfast Zoo for their class trip. It was a great chance to see some of the wild and endangered animals they had researched during the class theme 'Animal Magic'. The children were particularly excited to see the new baby giraffe which had been born earlier this year. The children amazed us all with countless facts they recalled about their favourite jungle animals! It was certainly a special day for the Year 2 children, despite the heavy downpours!
