On Thursday 1st May, Mark from the charity Trócaire (an Irish work for compassion/mercy) came into the school assembly hall and spoke to all the children. He thanked the school community for the tremendous effort that we made in completing the' Water Walks' and for the amazing amount of money that we raised £2,374.33. He told us about how the money may be spent. The Year one children were delighted to present him with the very large cheque. Thank you to the families for their spirit of generosity and compassion. Thank you in particular to Miss Loughran who coordinated the appeal this year.
