We were delighted to welcome the wonderful team from Queen’s University Belfast’s Teddy Bear Hospital to our Nursery! It was a truly memorable experience for our boys and girls, filled with learning, laughter, and lots of caring hands.
The children enjoyed discovering how to look after their bodies, stay healthy, and understand that doctors and healthcare professionals are there to help us feel well and safe.
Each child brought along their own much‑loved teddy from home and stepped into the role of a mini doctor for the day! Using real stethoscopes, bandages, and plenty of gentle care, they worked hard to make sure their teddies were happy and healthy. They also learned about check‑ups, healthy eating, and how to keep germs away — all through fun, hands‑on activities tailored perfectly for young learners.
A heartfelt thank you to the fantastic Teddy Bear Hospital team for giving our children such a valuable and joyful experience. We are so grateful for your time and expertise and hope to welcome you back again soon.
