Here at St James's Primary School and Nursery Unit, we take our rights very seriously and we care about responding to what our pupils have to say. We have an expert team of pupil councillors, from Y4-Y7, who have been elected by their peers to lead our wonderful school on this mission. Our Pupil Council have set about this task by designing and implementing suggestion boxes so each of our classes have the opportunity to share ideas to improve our already wonderful school. The best suggestions have helped inform our action plan for school improvement.  Another one of our most important tasks this year was leading our school in our annual celebration of 'Anti-Bullying Week'. We wrote and hosted a whole school assembly, ensuring that our pupils know a little bit about our school policy, how to identify bullying and what you can do to stop bullying.  In addition to this, we take our role as school ambassadors very seriously. We are expert tour guides that relish the opportunity to show prospective pupils and families what St James's is all about!
