We had a wonderful visit from Anna at NI Water, and the children had a fantastic time learning all about water!
Anna helped us discover where our water comes from, and we were amazed to learn that it travels all the way from Woodburn Reservoir before it reaches our taps. The children explored the journey water takes and how it is cleaned to make it safe to use.
The children loved becoming little “scientists” for the day, asking lots of questions and getting involved in the activities. They were especially interested in learning how we can look after our water and why it’s important not to waste it.
To finish the session, Anna very kindly gave each child a goody bag to take home, which was a lovely treat.
It was a really enjoyable and engaging visit, and we were so proud of how curious and enthusiastic the children were. A big thank you to NI Water for such a memorable experience!
