We had a splashing good time at Nursery when we welcomed some very special visitors from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)!
The RNLI team came to talk to the children about water safety and how to stay safe near the sea, rivers, and lakes. Through fun stories, games, and demonstrations, our young learners discovered:
- What to do in an emergency near water
- How to “Float to Live”
- Why lifeboats and lifeguards are so important
- The special uniforms and equipment RNLI volunteers use
The children were fascinated by the lifeboat models, life jackets, and rescue equipment—and they especially loved trying on the mini helmets! 🧠🚨
We’re so grateful to the RNLI team for delivering such an engaging and educational visit. The children left inspired by the work of these real-life heroes and full of important knowledge about how to stay safe near water.
