Mr Farrell and Mrs O’Neill’s Y6 classes were lucky to have Catherine from Amazon Jungle Show visit with some of her amazing animals.
The pupils got to hold a snake, touch and feel a chameleon, frog, tortoise and a huge monitor lizard. We had an opportunity to learn facts about the rainforests, impacts of deforestation and hear that 50 million insects live on one tree in the rainforest!
It was a fantastic end to our topic!
