Our Y5-7s were treated to an engaging and informative workshop from Fiona, who works for West Minster’s education service. We talked about the roles of MLAs and MPs and how they are elected to make decisions and laws. We also talked about the importance of laws and the function of places like Stormont and West Minster Parliament. With all of this new information, we then put our heads together and talked about the changes we would like to see. We had a vote and learned how we can use our voice to make changes happen. What an exciting morning!
