Our Nursery was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of special moments as we celebrated Grandparents Day this week. It was a joy to welcome so many grandparents and special family members into our setting to share in the children’s learning and play.
Throughout the morning, our visitors enjoyed exploring the different areas of the Nursery, from construction and creative play to our cosy book corner and sensory activities. The children were excited to show their grandparents around, proudly sharing their favourite toys, games, and spaces. It was lovely to see so many meaningful interactions — from building together, painting side‑by‑side, to reading stories and joining in imaginative play.
Events like this highlight the wonderful connection between home and school, and the importance of family in each child’s learning journey. The children were delighted to have their special guests with them, and their happiness was clear to see.
