Learning about People Who Help Us in the Nursery

19th Apr 2024

As part of our theme ‘People Who Help Us’, the Nursery boys and girls had two special visitors this week.

Our first visitor was Ruby’s Mummy, Catriona, who is a hairdresser. She came and talked to the children about her important job of helping us to look after our hair. She talked to us about how we can keep our hair strong and healthy. The children even had a go at styling some hair using Catriona’s doll.

Our second visitor was George who is our local Postal Worker. George spoke to the children about his important job of ensuring that all our mail and parcels are safely delivered. He looks after about 1200 households in our local community. He even has a black and white cat like Postman Pat!

Thank you to both Catriona and George for coming to meet our Nursery children and to talk to them about their special roles as People Who Help Us.
