Year 2 finished their Food Glorious Food topic in style today when they visited Pizza Express. Off we went on the bus to Ballyhackamore Pizza Express. The manager greeted us with a big smile. We washed our hands, spread passata on the dough bases that Charlie the pizza chef had prepared and sprinkled mozzarella cheese cubes on top. Three minutes in an oven at 375 oC and they were ready. Charlie demonstrated his dough making skills spinning and throwing the dough in the air. We arrived back in school in time to try a slice before dinner! Gracie Pizza Express!
