We used our ‘Maths eyes’ to spot real life Maths around the grounds of our school. The pupils were amazing at identifying 2D and 3D shapes, symmetrical patterns and even fractions by using the windows.... This gave the pupils an opportunity to develop their understanding and context for why we learn certain Maths concepts in school.
