Today was World Book Day and, for part of our celebrations, all classes took part in a ‘Drop Everything and Read’ activity where we all got lost in a good book. This looked a little different for our Year 1s and Year 2s, who had some special guests come and help out. Our Year 6s and Year 7s kindly brought a selection of great texts to their classes and stayed a while to share them with their younger peers. What a heartwarming afternoon we had watching some of our oldest students act as exemplary role models for some of our youngest. Definitely a day to remember for our wonderful students and proud teachers!
