As part of our “People Who Help Us” theme, we were delighted to welcome our local postman George to St James’s Nursery Unit, who brought along his very special friend, Postman Pat.
This exciting visit gave the children a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the important role postmen play within our community. George explained how he delivers hundreds of letters and parcels every week, helping people stay connected with family, friends and businesses.
Visits like this help the children to develop an understanding of the different people who help us in our everyday lives, while also building positive connections with our local community.
We would like to thank George and Postman Pat for taking the time to visit us and for providing such an enjoyable and engaging experience for our children.
