Year 1 had a fantastic day for World Book Day, as it tied in beautifully with our WAU Fairytales theme. We were able to dress up and play with castles, dragons, princesses and knights. We then had a tea party with some tasty treats and did some ballroom dancing. We listened to each other’s favourite books on the whiteboard and finished with a super book swap.
We also received a lovely book from the Book Trust.
