Y6 have been working extremely hard in their research groups to learn about sustainable initiatives and renewable energy sources to incorporate into their project. We had the opportunity to showcase our project at Queen’s University alongside many other schools who participated in the Sentinus Project. Although we did not win first prize, the judges were extremely impressed with our ability to speak with confidence about Algae Powered Street Lights, Piezoelectric Floors, Biogas and Hydro Power. A great experience enjoyed by all!
