Last term P2 enjoyed learning all about animals as part of their World Around Us theme Animal Magic. The children learned how to research to find information and created their very own report based on an animal of their choice. They used their ICT skills to create a digital rainforest scene and began to add text to their image. We learned about the work of the famous artist Henri Rousseau and used a range of materials to create their own artwork based on his piece. We made masks of our favourite rainforest animal and took them outside to imagine what the animals would do in their natural habitat. What animals can you spot hiding in the trees?
