Terry Madill visited our class as part of the STEM roadshow event for the Titanic Schools Project on the morning of 5th October. We took part in a Titanic warm up act in school facilitated by Terry, who had brought along various artefacts and costumes from the Titanic for our pupils to see and try on. He immersed us in the history of the Titanic and the workers who helped to build the Titanic.
We will have a follow up session as part of the Titanic schools project with a Christmas trip to the Belfast harbour office in the shipyard in December.
